Mr. D.: I founded the company here in Munich in 1990.

2    Where are you from and when did you come to Munich?

Mr.D.: I am originally from Alabama and I came to Munich in 1979.First I worked for the University of Maryland as a     tourguide, taking American student groups all around Europe. At the university I also had language study, so I learned to speak German, French, Italian, Russian and Spanish. As a tourguide I needed those skills to go everywhere. After working with the University of Maryland from 1979 to 1990 I of course had a lot of experience with many countries and a lot of forms of travel. This is what made me think I could make a business here.

3    Are you operating independently or is your business part of a network?

Mr. D.: " Just Travel " is an independent business.

4    Are there other agencies in Germany?

Mr. D.: There are no other agencies in Germany.

5    Why did you open a store in Germany, especially in Munich?

Mr. D.: I opened the store in Munich because here were all my connections.

6    How big is your company?

Mr. D.: The agency has five full-time employees and one assistance. We used to have more assistants but they are too expensive now.
